In support of our efforts to maintain a drug-free workplace at Shiflett Enterprises, all final candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen in conjunction with the ten year background check.

Supervisor:
Must be familiar with and can perform all laborer qualifications, CDL operator and Foreman qualifications. Must be trench safety certified, and NPDES qualified. Must be familiar with company job reporting process, time reporting, and other company reporting duties. Must have leadership skills and communication skills necessary to instruct, assign duties and dedicate work details. Responsible for safety, production, compliance and accuracy. Shall be proficient with the installation of rigid conduit, EMT, PVC, and all associated work where building entrances are required. Shall also have the knowledge and ability to understand diversity compliance in accordance with BICSI Standards. Must have AT&T required OSP and ISP certifications, and must have minimum 1 year experience as foremen. Foreman. Must have a proven record of profitability, safety compliance, attendance, leadership abilities, and customer satisfaction.

Jobsite Foreman:
Foreman 1 must be familiar with and can perform all laborer qualifications, and operator qualifications. Foreman 1 must be trench safety certified, and NPDES qualified. Foreman 1 must be familiar with company job reporting process, time reporting, and other company reporting duties. Foreman must have leadership skills and communication skills necessary to instruct, assign duties and dedicate work details. Foremen are responsible for safety, production, compliance and accuracy.

CDL Driver/Labor:
This classification requires a valid Georgia CDL class A driver license. Must be knowledgeable about daily equipment maintenance, and must perform daily maintenance and preventive maintenance in accordance with equipment operators, manual. Operators are responsible for daily fueling, greasing, and general housekeeping of the equipment. Must be familiar with Laborer qualifications, and may be required to perform some of those duties. Operator  must be trench safety certified and NPDES qualified.

Jobsite Labor:
Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, kneel or squat for extended periods of time with no physical limitations. Must be willing to work in seasonal climate changes associated with outside construction, and must dress accordingly. One must obey all safety rules and regulations. Has some knowledge of outside plant construction. One must understand MUTCD requirements for traffic safety. Has experience in outside plant construction and or utility construction. One must be able to operate pneumatic tools efficiently and safely. Understand what tools are required for the job, and how to safely use them.
